As it turns out, I left MIT too! In, um, November 2007? The current plan is that I'll go back this fall, but it sort of all depends on my mental health state and whether or not I can either (a) suffer through the incompetence and discrimination that is the Aero/Astro department (b) find something else to major in.
It looks like you found yourself an awesome new academic program — that is an astounding feat! If you have any advice ... ;)
